Hi, I’m Yann (He/They).
I know how overwhelming life can feel, especially when you're questioning your identity, feeling stuck, or grappling with painful emotions. I’ve been there myself—feeling lost, unsure of where to turn or how to move forward. My own journey through therapy was filled with uncertainty and challenges, but it opened up the path to self-discovery and healing. That experience taught me how truly transformative therapy can be, and I’m here to offer you that same opportunity for change and growth, whatever you’re facing.
With a first-class BSc in Counselling from the University of East London (BACP-accredited) and an MSc in Gender & Sexuality Studies from Birkbeck University, I bring a unique blend of expertise to my practice. My education also includes foundational psychology studies at Yale University and additional training in New York, broadening my understanding of diverse therapeutic approaches.
I draw from Person-Centred, Interpersonal, CBT, Psychodynamic, and Existential Therapies, adapting each to fit your individual needs and experiences.
But my work goes beyond the classroom. Through volunteering with ELOP, an LGBTQIA+ charity, and London Young Counselling, I have gained deep insight into the challenges people face around identity, shame, trauma, and grief. I understand how different and unique each journey is, and I am passionate about creating an inclusive, non-judgmental space for everyone I work with.
Together, we can create a compassionate and supportive space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Therapy with me is a collaborative process, one where your growth and healing are at the centre.
